Salt Tolerance Indicators in ‘Tahiti’ Acid Lime Grafted on 13 Rootstocks

چکیده

The citrus yield is limited by soil and/or water salinity, but appropriate rootstocks can ensure the sustainability of production system. Therefore, objective present research was to evaluate salt content in and physiological aspects ‘Tahiti’ acid lime combined with thirteen rootstocks, irrigated saline first two years identify indicators tolerance. evaluated were: ‘Santa Cruz Rangpur’ lime, ‘Indio’, ‘Riverside’ ‘San Diego’ citrandarins, ‘Sunki Tropical’ mandarin, eight hybrids, obtained from Citrus Breeding Program Embrapa Cassava Fruits. waters used had three levels: 0.14, 2.40, 4.80 dS m?1, a randomized block adopting split-plot design, plots subplots, four replicates. From August 2019 February 2021, fruit harvests agronomic traits were measured. At end each year, characteristics, leaf gas exchange, chlorophyll fluorescence analysis performed. It concluded that: (1) effects salinity on are osmotic nature, reducing (2) did not significantly damage photosynthetic apparatus until second year production, (3) using more stable, salt-tolerant makes it possible cultivate under irrigation 2.4 m?1 electrical conductivity.

Tolerance to Lime - Induced Chlorosis and Drought in Grapevine Rootstocks

Many woody crop plants such as grapevine are traditionally grown with scion varieties grafted onto rootstocks. The selection of an appropriate rootstock provides a powerful tool to manage the growth and fruiting of the scion (Jones, 2012). In the grapevine propagation, the use of rootstocks is not a new matter. The evidence of the use of rootstocks can be found out even in works written by the ...

Survival strategies of citrus rootstocks subjected to drought

Two citrus rootstocks, Rangpur lime (RL) and Sunki Maravilha mandarin (SM), were analyzed either ungrafted or grafted with their reciprocal graft combinations or with shoot scions of two commercial citrus varieties: Valencia orange (VO) and Tahiti acid lime (TAL). All graft combinations were subjected to distinct watering regimes: well-watered, severe drought and rehydration. Growth and water r...

Erratum to “Genetic Diversity and Population Differentiation of Guignardia mangiferae from “Tahiti” Acid Lime”

Among the citrus plants, "Tahiti" acid lime is known as a host of G. mangiferae fungi. This species is considered endophytic for citrus plants and is easily isolated from asymptomatic fruits and leaves. G. mangiferae is genetically related and sometimes confused with G. citricarpa which causes Citrus Black Spot (CBS). "Tahiti" acid lime is one of the few species that means to be resistant to th...

Mineral Nutrient Uptake in Cucumbers Grafted on Lagenaria siceraria and Cucurbita moschata Rootstocks in Different Temperature

An experiment was designed to investigate the effect of grafting Cucumis sativus var. Super daminos on Cucurbita moschata (Rs) and Lagenaria siceraria (Lg)which is comparing with non-grafting of Cucumis sativus var. Super daminos (Rn) and self-grafting (Rc). The experiment carried out as a factorial experiment based on complete randomized design (CRD) with 4 replicates in two temperature treatm...
